The 2011 appropriations

The 2011 appropriations agreed to and passed by congress. It requires the General Accounting Office to conduct an audit of the waivers from Obamacare that are being issued by Health and Human Services.

Secretary Sebelius has granted more than 1000 waivers.  They have been granted to labor unions, large corporations and one entire state. By what criteria are these waivers being granted, if Obamacare is the best thing since sliced bread why is everyone trying to get out of it?

The GAO has also been ordered to audit the effect Obamacare will have on insurance premiums.

There will also be an audit of the comparative effectiveness bureaucracy, established in the 2009 stimulus bill to study which medical techniques are most effective.
